The third game in as many days became the third win in as many days as the Hounds stunned the Electrons with a walk-off of 7-6 win Thursday at Winnemac Park.
Like a greased up pig, Hounds starting pitcher Mike DiCola wriggled out of inning after inning, stifling the Dodgers scoring attempts and securing a bottom of the last inning win on a final score of 2-1 in a playoff atmosphere down at Simeon High School Wednesday night.
French allowed 6 hits and only 2 earned runs in the 111-pitch effort, looking untouchable at times.
The Hounds enjoyed some midsummer R&R Saturday afternoon, assembling in sunny Lockport, Illinois for the squad’s first (annual?) campout.
