Hounds drop third in a row

The Chicago Hounds are now 9-8 on the 2018 season after losing to Ramirez Baseball 10-3 today at Winnemac Park. The weather was absolutely gorgeous, but unfortunately the Hounds’ play was not. Ramirez Baseball (formerly the
Astros) are now 3-37 lifetime in their 2 CMBA seasons. But make no mistake, Ramirez Baseball was simply the better team today. Hans Hetrick‘s (#18, C) parents and Juan Garcia joined us at K’s after the game where we (1)
discussed getting Alex Garcia (#10, RF/P) and Jonathan Garcia (#35, 2B) to the games a little earlier and (2) contemplated buying a 2-bedroom apartment next door to K’s as a team flophouse.

The Hounds also lost 6-4 on Thursday at Southwest Park v. the Marlins. If we won we were going to Outback to celebrate, but instead we were forced to go to Hooters since we lost. The Hounds played much better on Thursday, and looked poised to tie or take the lead late, but unfortunately just couldn’t scratch across enough runs.

The Hounds look to return to the winning column tomorrow as they face the Vikings at Winnemac at 12:15 pm. Party at 1346 W Early Ave Chicago IL 60660 after the game. See you there!
